Surrounding Yourself With Positivity After Narcissistic Abuse.

A few steps towards a new positive you. When we become happier, we create a much happier life.

If you eat healthy fresh food your body benefits, in the same way, if you feed your brain healthy positive thoughts, your mind will benefit, and so will your body. Feeding your mind with positivity and surrounding yourself with positive people, will give you a more positive personality giving you more confidence and self-esteem.

It’s time to lose those negative thoughts that have held you back in the past, and replace them with positive thoughts, and you can then step into a newfound self and a much happier more successful future. You are the only one that can control your thoughts, and others may have planted seeds in there that have grown, you can reverse this process, it takes work, self-awareness and understanding at first, the more you do it, the easier it will become.

Positive self talk.

Controlling your own inner dialogue, speak to yourself kindly, positive affirmations. “I love myself.” “I am kind.” “I can do anything I put my mind to.” “ I feel great.” “I am enough.” “I have the coping skills.” “I am capable.”

Your emotions are determined by the way you talk to yourself, so change these emotions to happier ones by changing the way you speak to yourself.

Consciously interrupt those negative thoughts and find a positive to replace them with.

Positive visualisations.

Visualise your goals as already accomplished, visual how you want your life to be, the more you see it on the inside, you’ll naturally start to create it on the outside, you do have to put the work in to get it, the more you visual your goals, the more you’ll be willing to work towards achieving them. Get a scrap book and fill it with pictures of things you’d like from your life. Happy people, happy children, animals, places to visit, it’s yours to fill for you.

The company you keep.

Surround yourself with people who want to raise others up, positive people, surrounding yourself with negative people, feeds your brain negativity, so remove or limit contact, observe their behaviour do not absorb.

Surrounding yourself with like-minded positive, happy people, will fill your mind with a positive thoughts, and make you feel good, as you are becoming more positive you’ll make them feel good too, win-win.

Positive health habits.

feed your body good food, everything in moderation, don’t deprive yourself. Exercise whatever form you find that you enjoy, and get into a good sleeping habit, these help you not only physically but also mentally.

Reading, learning, growth.

Positive mental food read a positive book, listen to positive affirmations, watch positive, uplifting videos.

Positive training and development,

Formal education makes a good living, make sure it’s something you enjoy.

Self-awareness and self-improvement you give to yourself, make your inner being a happy fortune.

Write down who you want to be in six months from now, get creative with drawing pictures, or print photos and create a visual dream board, write all goals and dreams, put it somewhere you see first thing in a morning.

On a separate piece of paper write the effects on your life, the implications if you don’t achieve your dreams, to give you the push to face your fears and do it anyway.

Then write down everything you have right now. And things you want to have in the future, add any of these you haven’t already to your vision board.

The take action and do, asking yourself, what can you do? Step by step, day by day to create your future dreams.

Today when you read this, do one quick win today, write a target of what you want to achieve today.

Then something you’d like to have achieved by the end of the month.

Something you’d like to achieve by the end of six months.

You don’t need to know how, just remember why you want and what you want, or start looking into what you wish to, then looking for ways to create these things for you.

Positive expectations, always expect the best in every situation, you need to give your positive best, to receive the positive best, if something’s not working, change it up, find the positive make it better or move on to something better. Never give up on yourself.
